How the work is delivered
Installations arranged through this site are delivered to MCS installation standards by certified installation teams — which is not a slogan but a checkable fact: MCS certification is verifiable for any company at mcscertified.com, and we encourage you to check before you sign anything, with us or anyone else. The electrical work is completed to BS 7671 with an Electrical Installation Certificate at handover, roof work is scaffolded to working-at-height requirements, batteries are sited to PAS 63100 guidance, and the DNO paperwork — G98 notification or a G99 application approved before energisation — is handled in the right order, not retrofitted.

The solar industry earned its pushy reputation honestly, so we work to the opposite playbook. No same-day discounts — a price that drops when you hesitate was never a real price. No invented urgency — the only deadlines you'll read on this site are sourced, dated facts like the 0% VAT window ending 31 March 2027. No pretending every roof suits solar — a north-only pitch or a heavily shaded array gets an honest "don't bother", in writing, at survey stage. What protects you
Three layers of cover outlive any installation company: the panel manufacturer's performance warranty (typically 25 years), the inverter manufacturer's warranty (10–12 years typical), and the insurance-backed workmanship warranty that MCS consumer codes require, which responds even if the installing firm ceases trading. On top sit the five handover documents — MCS certificate, Electrical Installation Certificate, DNO evidence, warranty registrations and the insurance-backed guarantee itself — that make the system insurable, sellable with the house, and eligible for Smart Export Guarantee payments.
